RATE: Starter solution: Use 3 lbs. of Seed Starter Special 16-45-7 in 50 gallons of water. For smaller quantities, dissolve two tablespoons in one gallon. Keep seeded areas moist until germination. Use as a watering-in solution on transplants. Hydro-seeding rates of coverage: use 75-150 lbs./acre in enough water to insure even coverage, or if coverage in sq. ft. per tank load is known use the following formula: square feet of coverage per tank load x .0017 to .0035 = lbs. of fertilizer needed per tank load.
