TENACITY
Tenacity can be used for pre- and post-emergence control of more than 46 broadleaf weed and grass species. Its active ingredient, mesotrione, is based on a naturally occurring compound produced by the bottlebrush plant that inhibits photosynthesis in susceptible plant species. It is absorbed by plants through the roots, shoots and leaves and distributed throughout the plant by both xylem and phloem translocation. Great post-emergent option for the control of nimblewill in bluegrass, ryegrass or fescue. It will also remove bentgrass from bluegrass. Weeds controlled with pre-emergent applications of Tenacity: crabgrass, foxtail, creeping bentgrass, chickweed, clover, and supression of Poa annua. Post-emergent controlled weeds: barnyardgrass, creeping bentgrass, nimblewill, dandelion, white clover, goosegrass, ground ivy, henbit, purslane to name a few.
